hi,
I was wondering what was the menu focus on the 27th?:D

and just a humble suggestion, since most of us would be university students, it would be great to focus on healthy and affordable food.

Thanks, great site! XD

Hi Anonymous!

Thanks for your suggestions! We’re always open to feedback to make this interest group grow. Deliciouz is currently in the process of planning a whole array of events (once a month) which we hope will appeal to a wide array of people.

For the first cooking event on the 27th of June, the theme is Modern Australian.

Chef Jimmy has come up with scrumptious menu consisting of:

1. Caesar Salad
2. Garlic Prawns with Saffron Rice
3. Fresh Pancakes drizzled with mixed berry compote toped with vanilla ice cream

These dishes although not normally cooked on a daily basis (unless you’re chef Jimmy!) will also provide you with an opportunity to learn some trick of the trade for e.g. how to butterfly/clean a prawn etc which all of can use to apply to our everyday cooking.

What we hope to achieve is a platform which will spark interest in all genres of cooking and hopefully take us all to another level of becoming the next masterchef!

Don’t worry the team at Deliciouz loves local Asian cuisine! Give us laska, prawn mee, mee pok anyday! This will fit closest to affordable uni cuisine(maybe not that healthy) and we hope to do a cooking class or a food adventure in that area in the near future!

Stay tune to this blog for more news shortly! And keep your comments coming.

In His Love,
~The Team @ Deliciouz~

i think $15 is definitely affordable and people should venture outta their comfort zone! You are IN australia after all so try something different! there's always $0.30 indomee!

the rental/gas/electricity etc to buy and prepare an event like that would have ended up costing >$15.

and since when were uni students healthy anyways?
$15 = 3 bubble ts
$15 = nandos meal with a drink
$15 = a kebab + drink
$15 = footlong sub with a drink and cookie

great work ally and liz..and props to jimmy =)
